What inspired you to pursue a life of service, and how did you get started in this field?

My parents and grandparents were my guiding lights, exemplifying a life of service through their actions and nurturing the community. Their profound influence inspired me to become a role model and servant leader, embodying the values they instilled in me from a young age.

What do you find most rewarding about your work, and what keeps you motivated to continue helping others?

Every day, I have the privilege of caring for others and sharing my gifts. Witnessing the impact of my efforts and knowing that I’m making a difference is incredibly rewarding. It’s this sense of purpose that keeps me motivated. I firmly believe that we all possess unique gifts, and by sharing mine, I hope to inspire others to do the same.

Can you share a significant experience or interaction with someone you helped in your work?

One of my most profound experiences was supporting my mother through her physical and emotional disabilities. She faced numerous setbacks after multiple surgeries, and I became her pillar of strength. Overcoming countless challenges, I nurtured her back to health. When she later suffered from a mineral deficiency, I ensured she received the medical attention she deserved. This experience reaffirmed the incredible power of perseverance and love. Today, she is not only alive but thriving.

What are the biggest challenges facing the people you serve, and what do you believe is the most effective way to address these challenges?

Through my work, I’ve discovered that many people I serve silently endure challenges such as depression, loneliness, and pain. To address these difficulties effectively, it is crucial to identify their needs and develop personalized support plans. By sharing my expertise, love, and compassion, I strive to uplift and empower those I serve, helping them find solace and renewed hope.

How do you balance taking care of yourself while also taking care of others, especially during difficult or emotionally taxing situations?

To care for others, I recognize the need to care for myself. Prioritizing self-care is essential for effective service. Daily exercise, nutritious meals, and dedicating time to nurture myself emotionally, physically, mentally, and spiritually are vital. This balance ensures I can continue giving my best even during challenging and emotionally taxing situations.

What advice would you give someone interested in pursuing a career or life of service to help others?

I would advise anyone interested in a life of service to lead with the heart. The true essence of service lies in genuinely caring for others, making them feel seen and valued. When people know and feel your genuine care, they are more likely to embrace positive change and inspire others.

How do you measure success in your work, and what do you use to evaluate the impact of your efforts?

Success, to me, is achieved by setting and accomplishing goals. I believe in inspecting what I expect. When I complete a goal for those I serve and myself, I evaluate the results and set new goals to further drive positive change. This helps me continuously assess and enhance the quality of the process for the best results.

Can you tell us about when you faced a difficult decision or challenge in your work and how you overcame it?

One of the most challenging decisions I’ve encountered was when I had to nurture my mother back to health after a near-death experience. It was a complex journey that demanded extensive research, collaboration with numerous doctors, implementing physical and occupational therapy and nutrition programs, and above all, an abundance of patience and love. I overcame these challenges by relying on faith and maintaining a laser-like focus on her recovery. Although the road was arduous, the impact on my mother’s life made every effort worthwhile. It was a testament to the unwavering determination to serve and the profound resilience of the human spirit.

What are the essential qualities or traits necessary to succeed in a life of service, and how have you developed these traits over time?

In a life of service, I firmly believe that perseverance, determination, and commitment are essential qualities for success. The path of service is often met with obstacles and setbacks, requiring the strength to endure and push forward. I have developed these traits through personal experiences and overcoming my challenges. Additionally, I am grateful to have had remarkable influences in my life, including my great-grandmother, who lived to be 101 years old, and my grandparents and parents, who instilled these key qualities in me. Witnessing their unwavering commitment to serving others has been a powerful source of inspiration and guidance throughout my journey.

How do you see your work evolving or changing, and what do you hope to accomplish in the years ahead?

As I envision the future, I see my work evolving significantly: continuous service and sharing knowledge. I will remain dedicated to serving others, leveraging my expertise and experiences to make a lasting impact in their lives. Additionally, I am excited about expanding my reach by engaging in speaking engagements and training programs. I believe that empowering others with the tools and insights to live a healthy and meaningful life while serving others is a profound way to create a ripple effect of positive change. As a current bestselling author, I am writing my second book, aiming to educate and inspire individuals to embrace service for personal growth and collective betterment. In the years ahead, my goal is to touch countless lives, fostering a culture of service, compassion, and empowerment that will endure for generations.
